There are a number of ways to make a donation - by mail, in person or on-line. Donations can be made in recognition of or in memory of loved-ones and friends. Please select one of the options below.

To Donate On-Line

Donations may be made on-line through the services provided by our partner, CanadaHelps.org. A charitable organization with the sole purpose of supporting Canadian charities with the best e-commerce technologies, CanadaHelps provides secure, on-line donation processing for charities and donors, at considerably less cost than developing our own site. The secure donation system protects your credit card information, and sends you an official electronic donation receipt within a few minutes.

To begin the process ...

  1. Click on the Donate Now image above - a new window will open.
  2. Type in the amount of your donation, and select the frequency - One-time or Repeating.
  3. Next, you may select which Fund you wish to support from the drop down box.
  4. Fill in the other boxes as required, and continue through the pages. PLEASE NOTE: No transaction will take place until you are satisfied with the information you have provided.
  5. Then click the Submit button. Only click once. Please do not touch your computer further until the transaction is complete, about 30 to 60 seconds.
  6. Thank you! - your donation will be complete, and a receipt will be sent by e-mail within a few minutes.

Donate in Memory of a Loved One

A gift to Habitat for Humanity Canada brings hope to families in need. We will send a card to the person you care about notifying of the gift made in memory of their loved one. You can send the card by making a gift through the online donation system; mailing in the printer-friendly donation form; or in-person at the Habitat for Humanity office.

Honour someone special by making a gift in their name

You can send gift cards to your loved one for their anniversary, birthday, graduations or any other special occasion while supporting the work of Habitat for Humanity Sarnia-Lambton. We will send a personalized card to the person you choose to honour, announcing that a gift has been made in their name. You will receive a receipt for your tax-deductible gift. You can make your gift through the online donation system; mailing in the printer-friendly donation form along with your donation; or in-person at the Habitat for Humanity office.
